Character animation was never something I had to delve into before this personal project, so I took the plunge and went for it. This project was created using Adobe After Effects and the Plugin Duik Bassel.2, with the characters being designed in Adobe Illustrator working closely with a colleague.
I started the project by animating a Male and Female walk cycle for two characters and copying the keyframes over to the other rigs created. The main character was then animated to interact with the notification from the phone and was all composited to the main composition.
I'm happy with how this has turned out, have a better understanding of character animation and hope to do more in the future!
